"Why is the Sellaronda MTB my favorite tour? Well, it's a 60km loop, reaching four different valleys where you get up to 4500 meters of descending with only 600 meters of uphill pedaling, the rest is done by Lifts. Portavescovo, Marmolada, Cittá dei Sassi and Sassolungo are only a few of the breathtaking things you can see if you can take your eyes off the various trails connectin them. There are so many options, you could variate almost every time, chousing different trails with different difficulties. "Walking on a well maintained gravel road in the dark is worth a lot. Half way up (there is a “Rifugio” there) this road turns into a trail wich will follow along the alpine meadows till the top where we can also find a huge cross. A nice 2 h uphill hike wich will be gratified by an amazing dawn. After that delicious self-made cakes at the Rifugio will be the best choice for breakfast. The hike will end with an amazing pathway throughout a stone pine forest and meadows."
"Starting whit the MTB from San Vigilio direction to La Crusc de Rit , after break on the Rit Pass the trail leads under the Sas dla Crusc range (Sasso Santa Croce, 2907 metres) and takes to the Armentara plateau. The alpine flora all around, the scents of the meadows in bloom and the 360°-degree breath-taking landscape will make this excursion a truly unforgettable experience. After a break or some refreshments whit specialities of Ladin cuisine, there is an opportunity fore some Singeltrails."
